Welcome to the website of China International Television Corporation (CITVC for short)! Thank you for your energetic support of and warm-hearted concern about CITVC for the past years!

Established in 1984, CITVC is an exclusive state-owned corporation invested by China Central Television (CCTV). Since its reorganization of assets and restructuring in 1997, CITVC has developed into a large-scale group corporation. Its major businesses include television program production and distribution, and at the same time, CITVC provides television technical services, television rating and other professional investigations and consultations, services of the advertisement agency. It also involves itself in industrial and capital investments. As a matter of fact, CITVC has become one of the biggest and strongest media industrial group corporations in China's mainland.

In 2007, China International Television Corporation continued to maintain rapid development. Under leadership of the board of directors, CITVC have kept in step with CCTV in institution reform and development. Thus, the Group continues to enhance the management level, the pattern of industrial operation keeps optimizing, and profitability goes on increase, the operating result achieves a new level. It has realized annual revenue of 3.65 billion yuan by an increase of 19%, total profit of 740 million yuan by an increase of 16%, and net profit of 470 million yuan by an increase of 21 percent.

2008 is the Olympic year of China, as well as the 50th anniversary of China's TV industry and the founding of CCTV. CITVC will seize the favorable opportunity to make good governance, to innovate and develop, taking full advantage of CCTV in industrial investment and managing platform. We will also continue to promote the project of "going out", support the development of new business, cultivate new points of growth, improve development model, management system, operating mechanism and market of products, so as to strive to achieve new leaps forward.
